We are an educational cooperative

Southwest Educational Development Center, or SEDC, provides services requested by our member schools in order to better serve the students in southwest Utah. Our specific services are described throughout this Web site.

Our Mission

The Mission of the Southwest Educational Development Center is to meet the needs of students and teachers, promote achievement, and provide for economy and efficiency in the cooperative delivery of educational services that are identified and requested by member schools.

Our regular hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Friday and closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and school holidays. Our specialists are available for questions or help anytime.

EDEL 5530 Teaching K-8:
Geometry and Measurement (3 Credits)

Began Monday, January 12th, 3:30-6:30 pm

Meets weekly on Mondays, ends May 25

Students from East Elementary in Washington County created their own story problems in their math class. We then helped them put all of their work together in one place and let them enhance each of their problems with some images, drawings, or video that they found.
